Overview
Mixed bed is short for cation, anion exchange resin mixed bed. The anion and cation exchange resins are placed and mixed in the same exchanger. So this kind of exchanger can be considered as countless anion and cation exchange resin staggered multistage mixed bed, which is one of the indispensable equipment for making pure water, ultrapure water. It is mainly used for removal of the ions in the water thoroughly. It is generally placed after the anion and cation exchanger, and it can also be placed in series after electrodialysis and reverse osmosis. Silica content of effluent water are below 0.02 mg/l, electric conductivity is 0.02 us/cm or less. Processed ultrapure water is widely used in high pressure boiler, electronics, pharmaceutical, paper making, chemical and petroleum industries.
