I Usage
The air pressure tank type filter is used for separating solid and liquid in the oil refining, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
II Working principle
Crude oil enters the drum via the hopper and rotates at a high speed. During the rotation, the dregs acquire larger centrifugal force due to its being heavier than the oil. The strong centrifugal force compels the dregs to pass through the oil and stick to the drum wall. When the drum stops rotating, the centrifugal force disappears and the oil seeps through the openings on the bottom of the drum, but the dreg retains on the wall.
