The LiFePO4 batteries maintain constant output voltage, providing more efficient power. This allows the cell to deliver virtually full power until it is fully discharged without harming the battery, and lithium battery can greatly simplify or even eliminate the need for voltage regulation circuitry. LFP battery has a much longer cycle life capacity, and is easier to maintain compared to other battery technologies.

A Lithium-Ion battery does not need to be fully charged. Service life even slightly improves in case of partial charge instead of a full charge. This is a major advantage of Lithium iron phosphate compared to lead-acid.
The Lithium ion battery will cut-off the charge or discharge current when the maximum ratings are exceeded.
