White fused alumina

White fused alumina (high purity with Al₂O₃ content over 99%) is produced from high purity alumina in electric arc furnaces at temperatures over 2000℃ under carefully controlled conditions.

White fused alumina is also characterized by high hardness of mohs 9, the chemical stability at very high temperatures, great self-sharpening, superior acid and alkali resistance, and stable thermal performance.

Size Available:

Abrasives F8-F1500, P12-P220, JIS240-JIS3000

Refractory 0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 200 mesh, 325mesh

Other special spec. could be supplied as required.

Applications:

1.         Grinding, lapping and polishing, ceramic shapes, sandpaper, sanding belts, sandblasting media, etc.

2.         Make abrasive tools with excellent character of less heat emitted

3.         High grade refractory material in purity, chemical stability or advanced refractory applications.

4.         Suitable for critical areas like precision blasting and vitrified abrasive where non-ferrous and non-silica grinding are required.
