  Product Description   ZT-8000 Silicone Structural Sealant is a two-part, neutral curing silicone formulation specifically developed for the structural bonding of glass, metal and other building components with good features as follows: a. Approved by silicone SSG leading group of national committee of economic and trade; b. Meet National standards of GB-16776-2005; c. Excellent adhesion to a wide range of curtain-wall materials such as coated, enameled and reflective glass, anodized oxidation or coated aluminum and stainless steel. d. High level of mechanical properties with joint movement capability of ±12.5%. e. Neutral cured, no corrosion, non-poisonous F. Excellent stability in a wide range temperature at -50℃~+150℃ g. Excellent weatherproof feature and a high resistance to UV radiation, high temperature and humidity. h. Lot matching of base and curing agent not necessary. Structural applications require prior testing and written print review by ZHONGTUO.   Functions It is designed for use in structural glazing applications such as structural adhesion, seal the joints of the structural glass and metal in the factory or building site and so on.             Application     ZT-8000 Double-component Silicone Sealant for Insulating Glass has excellent unprimed adhesion to most coated or not coated glass and metal spacers. The thing should be careful is to prepare samples to do adhesion and compatibility tests before application. Application method 1,The base and curing agents should be mixed by airless mixing system for better physical performance. ZT-8000 is fit for general two-part silicone sealant dispenser. 2,ZT-8000 should be stirred before use to prevent possible settling in shipment. 3,Because of its reaction with atmospheric moisture, curing agent should not be exposed to air for prolonged period. No any significant changes will occur over some range. The increase or decrease of air moisture will affect the snap time. 5,Questions about ZJ-8000 could be answered by calling ZHONGTUO local agents or representatives. Our laboratory and technical staffs are available for assistance.         Packing   ZT-8000 base and curing agents are available in separate packaging or match packaging (12:1 by weight). The base will be used for purge in dispenser shutdown. So base is available in 245 Kg ferrous drum. Curing agent is available in 19 Kg plastic pail.   Storage & Shelflife     ZT-8000 Double-component Silicone Sealant for Insulating Glass is stored on airtight container under 30℃ and 12 months of shelf life from the date of production.         Typical properties   ZJ-8000 has excellent adhesion without priming to most construction substrates and its typical properties are suitable for wide temperature range. Acidic and neutral adhesive is used in construction. But due to the acidic components in the acidic glue, it is has a little corrosive to steel, cement, stone, etc. so that the application is limited, commonly used in installation of aluminum alloy glass doors and windows.Neutral silicone sealant’s curing time is longer than acid, but smell is much smaller than acid.Neutral sealant is used a lot in the windows and doors, curtain wall dosage and the strength is big. Also it used in automobile, shipbuilding, railway body such as the floor, and side seams, car roof seal..Neutral curing, non-corrosive for metal, coated glass, concrete, ceramics, building materials, such as marble, granite, etc. and has excellent weather resistance.The seams of the main effect of glass, stone, aluminum plate. 2,What kinds of sealants and its different uses?
