[Character] This product is colorless to yellowish or yellowish green clear liquid.

[ Pharmacological action ] Pharmacodynamics Lincomycin belongs to lincosamine antibiotics, which are bacteriostatic agents. Sensitive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, pneumococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothricus swine, some mycoplasma (Mycoplasma suis pneumonia, Mycoplasma nasalis, Mycoplasma suis, Mycoplasma seabornalis), Leptospira and anaerobes (such as Clostridium, Clostridium tetani, Clostridium perfringens and Actinomycetes). It mainly acts on the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, and plays an antibacterial role by inhibiting the extension of the peptide chain and affecting the synthesis of proteins.

The peak plasma concentration was 6.25μg/ml after a single intramuscular injection of 1mg /kg in pigs. The plasma protein binding rate was 57%-72%. The apparent volume of distribution in pigs was 2.8L/kg. It was widely distributed in various body fluids and tissues (including bones), among which the concentrations in liver and kidney were the highest. The tissue drug concentration was several times higher than the serum concentration of the same period. It can enter the placenta, but it is not easy to cross the blood-brain barrier, and it is difficult to reach an effective concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid during inflammation. It can be distributed into milk, and the concentration in milk is the same as that in plasma. Some drugs are metabolized in the liver, and their original forms and metabolites are excreted in bile, urine, and milk. It can be excreted in the feces

It is delayed for several days, so it has an inhibitory effect on sensitive intestinal microorganisms.

[Drug interactions] (1) When combined with gentamicin, it has synergistic effect on Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.

(2) The combination of aminoglycosides and peptide antibiotics may enhance the blocking effect on the neuromuscular junction. Combined with erythromycin, there is antagonistic effect, because the site of action is the same, and the affinity of erythromycin to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome is stronger than this product.

(3) It should not be used in combination with antidiarrheal drugs that inhibit intestinal peristalsis and contain kaolin.

(4) It is incompatibility with kanamycin and novobiocin.

[Action and use] Lincosamine antibiotics. It can be used for gram positive bacterial infection, and can also be used for pig treponemiasis and mycoplasma infection.

[Usage and dosage] Intramuscular injection: one dose, 0.033ml/lkg body weight, once a day; 0.033ml for dogs and cats, twice a day for 3-5 days.

[Adverse reaction] has neuromuscular blocking effect.

[Precautions] Intramuscular administration may cause transient diarrhea or soft stools. Although rare, if it does occur, necessary measures should be taken to prevent dehydration.
