Introduction to high frequency screen:

 

High frequency screen is of high efficiency, small amplitude and high frequency of screening. Therefore it is 

widely used for screening or classifying iron ore, tin, tungsten, tantalum, niobium and etc. Regarding to the 

working principle, it differs from the conventional screens. By means of breaking of the surface tension of 

slurry, together with small granularity’s high speed vibration on sieve cover and accelerates the separating of 

large-density useful mines and increases the contacting probability of the materials smaller than output granularity 

and the sieve pore. Therefore, it creates good condition for separating materials, especially for the small size 

ores.

 

 

Working principle of high frequency screen:

 

High frequency screen is used for raw materials of dry-type and wet-type screening, classifying and dewatering in ore beneficiation, coal dressing, chemical, brick making, food, 

pharmacy, alkali making, fertilizer, paper making industries and etc. In ore beneficiation plant, it is used to 

classify fine materials. Given that the feeding ore density and fineness(-200 mesh) are proper, and the required fineness is 30% less than that of the feeding ores, the screening efficiency of the screen can reach 70% or more. Its high efficiency help improve the capacity of the matching grinding mill( about 5-10% ). The screening process helps the concentrates get rid of the coarse ores, and the ore pulp layers in 

accordance with different density due to the high frequency and small amplitude. With high density and fine 

ores sink to the screen surface and fall through the mesh, the grade of ores can be remarkably improved. 

 

   

 

Characteristics of high frequency screen:

 

Vibration exciter set the screen in motion by transmission devices while the screen box stay still. The whole 

equipment is supported by vibration reduction system, which reduces the load of the ground. The screen can be installed directly into the firm and even ground or common steel structure platform without foundation. Its 

vibrating frequency is 50HZ, amplitude 0-2mm, vibration force 8-10 times stronger than that of acceleration of gravity. The screen mesh is hardly blocked, therefore it is suitable for classifying fine materials of 0.074-1mm.
