                                      Tetramisole water soluble powder 10% for chicken farms   Composition: Each 1g contains Tetramizole HCL 100mg. Properties: Tetramizole is a highly effective anti-nematode drug because of its broad range of activity in a large number of hosts. Major advantages of Tetramizole are that it is effective against nematodes of the lungs and G.I tract. Tetramizole has a paralyzing action on nematodes. The paralysis is due to sustained muscle contractions. It also has marked immune-stimulant activity. Indications: This product is indicated against nematodes affecting gastrointestinal tract as well as lung worm infestations in cattle, sheep, goat and camel. Also against Ascaridia, Capillaria and Heterakis infestations in poultry. Target Species: Cattle, Camel, Sheep, Goat, and Poultry. Dosage and Administration: Cattle, camel, sheep and goat: 150mg per 10 kg of body weight as a single dose, to be mixed with feed or dissolved via drinking water. Poultry: 15-20mg/kg b.w. via drinking water. Withdrawal Period:  Meat: 3days.  Milk: 1 days. Egg: 7 days. Contra- indication: Not used within 14 days of treatment with organophosphorous compounds or diethylcarbamazine. Not used in concurrent with pyrantel,morantel,neostigmine or chloramphenicol.
