Taun flooring:

1. The wood


Taun is a wood species originated mainly from Southeast Asia tropical forest. Raw taun wood is pink to reddish brown, sapwood is not very distinct from heart wood. Taun wood is moderately durable. As solid wooden floor it can be for interior use only. Taun is similar in appearance to another wood species from Southeast Asia regions -Merbau, but it is not so strong as merbau, also it weights lighter than real merbau. In the market of china, taun crowned as the name "small merbau" which is nearly one of the most ecnomical imported wood for solid wood flooring. So if you are looking for an inexpensive hardwood flooring, taun might be your ideal choice. <o: P>


2. Technical detail



Taun wood Grade:

C&L hardwood use premier grade taun timber imported from Malaysia or Indonesia processing in our factory as solid 18mm taun wood flooring. The Premier Grade wood from us is a garantee of more unniform in color varations, little flaws, cracking or knots are seen on the finished surface. C&L hardwood supply also AB Grade taun flooring upon customer requirments.

Edges and Side:

C&L hardwood mill the cheap taun wood floor board with four side Tongue & Groove Joint, board to board fit perfectly to each other, very easy to installation. Each board is with slightly 45° Micro-beveled Edge, which makes the the floor more soft & elegant.

Moisure Content:

Normally taun raw wood is properply dried under a MC of 12% in order to produce a qualfied timber floor. C&L hardwood factory present a report as a proof that each batch of our timber floor keeps with moisture content in the range of 10%-12%.

Coating:

Solid taun wood flooring from C&L hardwood is sealed by primer pu finish on six sides on floor board, it enhances the dampness resistance to garantee the board stability after long time use. Surface coating is applied by 8 layers primer finish, 4 layers top finish. The top finish we use germany treffert aluminium oxide UV coating which greatly enhanced the scratch resistance of the timber flooring.

Warranties:

C&L hardwood taun solid wood flooring has a warranty of 25years structural under proper maintaince. 7 years surface UV coating wear though warranties. 5 times more sanding and refinish on the floor baord is absolutely possible.

5. Shiping

Quantity less than 5000s. Q. F will be 25 dyas lead time after order confirmatiom

We offer either fob price or cif price which including the marine cost to destination port of client.

We also offer door to door service of transportation for client which must be confirmed with client before shiping as well as make agreement with client.

Sampling will be free of charge, client only need to pay the freight cost.
