Nowadays, for the water meter, its transmission of data is no longer any technology difficult: no matter by RS485 cable or GPRS or RF. They are very mature technology and very reliable application.

It is not proper to just say simply that "AMR water meter is smart water meter"

 

I think the key point of Smart Water Meter is how to get the data signal from the water meter.

By what kind of technology can switch the water consumption data with PC.

So I think the Smart Water Meter core basis is still the Water Meter Itself.

But most users and engineers focused too much for its AMR technology, and neglected the water meter itself, I think this is wrong and must be corrected.

So we should attach much importance to the water meter itself.

This technology water meter should be given up.

However we have to agree that they are market main share.

2. The meter itself is no longer mechanical technology, such as ultrasonic or electromagnetic or electronic flow rate sensor

Among these meters, you cannot find those gears and meter dials on the body.

Naturally these water meters are digital, and electronic.
