PRINCIPLE & STRUCTURE
Shell and tube heat exchangers consist of series of tubes. One set of these tubes contains the fluid that must be either heated or cooled. The second fluid runs over the tubes that are being heated or cooled so that it can either provide the heat or absorb the heat required.

@ Tube Types Options
As shown below, there're three Tube Types of "U-tube, Fixed Tubesheets & Floating Head". Each type has its own advantages, limitations and suitable fields. We'll determine the most suitable option based on your use situations and fuction requirements.
@ Tube Diameter
Small tube diameter makes the heat exchanger both economical and compact but it also will make mechanical cleaning of the fouling difficult. We'll consider the available space, cost and fouling nature of the fluids to determine the ideal option.
@ Tube Length
Heat Exchangers are usually cheaper when they have a smaller shell diameter and a long tube length. Our designs focus on this when meeting the space and installation limits meanwhile.
@ Other Items
Flow arrangement, Tube pitch, Tube corrugation, Tube Layout, Baffle Design, etc.
They'll affect the cost, heat transfer performance, fouling, use life and maintenance easily or not.
STRUCTURE & TUBE TYPES WE CAN SUPPLY

Our shell and tube line utilizes bare tube (straight and u-tubes), helical low-fin outside, longitudinal fins (inside & outside are available). These exchangers are suitable for a variety of applications and are offered in fixed tube sheets or removable bundles. The surface area ranges from (1) square foot to 20,000 square feet. Pressure range is from full vacuum to over 50Mpa (limited by size, material and design condition).

PROFESSIONAL MANUFACTURING & VERY RIGID QUALITY CONTROL
TOPPING utilizes the latest in modern metal forming and cutting equipment to insure precise adherence to dimensions and close tolerances.
Drilling equipment is numerically controlled to insure the accuracy required for baffles and tube sheets unique to heat exchangers. This capability includes heavy duty drilling capacity that has the ability to accurately drill tube sheets up to 10" thick and 120" in diameter. Close tolerances on these machines are easily held.
Modern welding equipment including multiple submerged arc equipment, allows efficient and smooth welding of heat exchangers for all sizes from 3" pipe to 120" plate shells which can meet the most sophisticated weld procedures.
Tube-Tube sheet welding utilizes modern computer controlled machines that make the tube to tube sheet joint in a uniform manner, with and without filler metal as the procedure requires.
Modern welding equipment including multiple submerged arc equipment, allows efficient and smooth welding of heat exchangers for all sizes from 3" pipe to 120" plate shells which can meet the most sophisticated weld procedures.

Tubes are expanded into tube sheets at a uniform rate using the most current technology to assure consistent expansion and leak-tight joints.
Before our nameplate is placed on any unit, the exchanger has been carefully inspected throughout the production process by our highly trained quailty control department. Each heat exchanger is fully supported by material test certificates that attest we are producing a thoroughly engineered high-quality product.
