Brief Introduction of Tempered Glass

  Toughened glass is the safety glass, Toughened glass is physically and thermally stronger than annealed glass, strength and thermal resistance, being produced by heating ultra clear flat glass to its softening point. Then on its surface forms the compressive stress and suddenly cool down the surface evenly, thus the compressive stress again distributes on glass surface while the tension stress exists at the center layer of the glass. The tension stress caused by outside pressure is counterbalanced with the strong compressive stress. As the result the safety performance of glass is increased.. More than 4-5 time stronger than annealed glass in same thickness. Except for clear tempered glass, Yaohua Glass also can provide ultra clear tempered glass, colored tempered glass, reflective toughened glass, silkscreen printed tempered glass. It is widely used as window glass, glass balustrade, glass balcony railing, glass shower door, interior glass door etc. Our products also cover laminated glass, insulated glass, silkscreen printed glass etc.

Strength: tempered glass has 4-5 times strength than ordinary glass.
Hot stability: good hot stability, it can endure 3 times temperature than ordinary glass, also can endure changing of above 200°C .
