SCITEC Circulating Water Electro-chemical Sterilizer   Product Description   1. The purpose and significance of circulating water sterilization         In the circulating cooling water system, cooling water is recycled. Due to the change of water temperature, velocity, water evaporation, all kinds of inorganic ions and organic material concentrated; cooling tower and cooling water pool are affected by the outdoor sunlight, wind & raining, dust, equipment structure & material and a variety of factors. If effective measures aren’t taken, the equipment can be serious scaled, corrosion and many bacterium or algae microorganisms will be infested. The microbial corrosion and algae growth if cannot be handled in a timely manner, the heat exchanger would damaged, equipment would be forced to shut down.       2. SCITEC Sterilizer Introduction   SCITEC sterilizer way of Electrochemical is different from the traditional Electro Chlorination; it is the new technology called electro-catalysis. 3. SCITEC Sterilizer Working Principles   1)  Direct effect of sterilizing alga: The ORP between electrodes produced while electrolysis & the strong oxidizing property OH-Radical produced on DAS titanium electrodes will attack the cell membrane of microorganisms together, for killing the alga.     At the same time, electrolytic produce hydroxyl radicals, ozone, hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite, they can destroy the cell nucleus, algae fungicidal effect completely. Because of hypochlorous acid is the strong oxidant, it is easy to protoplasm compounded through the microbial cell walls. When the concentration reaches a certain degree, it can damage the whole cells, so as to kill microorganisms. The residual hypochlorous acid in cooling water can completely prevent regeneration and propagation of microbes and algae.   Water in the circulating water system must be treated with SCITEC circulating water sterilization device once a day, to ensure the sterilization effect of alga.   2) Indirect effect of sterilizing alga: The treated cooling water which flow into the heat exchanger, cooling tower and cooling water pools have residual chlorine (0.1~0.2PPM), the residual chlorine can completely prevent regeneration and propagation of microbes and algae.   4.
