The blade is concealed inside the slider.     When using, attach the slide cutter to the box. For this push-on model of slide cutter, you can simply clip it onto the edge of the box edge.      Then pull out the desired length of cling film over the cutter rail, push the blue slider from one end of the rail to the other end, and the film is cut neatly and easily!
