pressure testing pump/Simplex manual hydraulic test pump I. Purpose
Model S-Sy series manual single casing test pressure pump (hereinafter referred to as the pump) is the equipment which obtains liquid high pressure source in the test for various kinds of pressure vessels, pipings, valves, steam boilers etc specially. The working media are 5oC~60oC clean water, emulsion as well as the oils with kinematic viscosity being not greater than 45 mm2/s. This series pump has 6 models.

  III. Structure and Working Principle
This pump is a vertical single plunger reciprocating pump, it is composed of the pump body, plunger pair, control valve, pressure-relieving valve, handle, support, water tank and sliding feet support etc.
The pump body is fixed on the support by the screws. The support and the water tank cover are tighter fixed on the water tank through screws. Pulling out sliding feet support at the bottom end of the water tank, make the pump to keep stable while working.
When the pump works, lift the handle upwards, it can carry the plunger to move upwards, the water intake valve is opened, the pump body plunger cavity is resulted to be vacuum. The medium in the water tank, under the action of the atmospheric pressure, is through the filter screen, intake pipe and water intake valve to enter into the plunger cavity. When the handle is pressed upwards, the water intake valve is closed, under pressure of the plunger; the medium pushes up the water outlet valve to enter into the test vessel through a working connection joint. 
The control valve of the pump is the check valve between the pump the device to be tested. Closing this valve, make the pump is isolated from the device being tested.
The pressure-relieving valve can be opened at the early of test pressure to relieve the gas in the pump. After test pressure completes, open this valve, the medium in the pump can be pressure-relieved and trained.
The working connecting pipe transfers the medium to the device, which is being tested, the connecting thread with the device being tested is M22×1.5-7H, the sealing gasket is an O seal ring with Ø 16×2.4.
IV. Method of Use
(I) Preparation work before use
Based on the working pressure, select a suitable pressure gauge, pay attention that the range of the pressure gauge shall be 1.5 times of the test pressure of the device being tested.
Use medium to fill up the water tank and the vessel being tested, and then connect the pump. Prohibit using the medium which is not clear and which contains silt etc foreign matters.
Open the control valve and pressure-relieving valve (Attention: The maximum opening height should not exceed limiting position plate), move the handle to make the medium to flow out from the pressure-relieving valve. The plunger shall have no block phenomena in the movement, then the pressure-reliving valve is closed
(II) Points for attention in the use
Prohibit carrying out test pressure at the pressure, which exceeds the rated discharge pressure specified for this pump. The test pressure valve should also not exceed the measuring upper limit value of the pressure gauge, or else it can make the pressure gauge to be damaged.
Exerted force shall be stable and uniform. Beating mode cannot be taken.
If seepage phenomena is found while the pump is working, the pump shall be stapped for overhaul.       Model 4D-SY(6.3—80MPa) electric hydraulic pressure testing pump is mainly used in hydrostatic test for various pressure containers, oxygen cylinder, pipe, valve and steam boiler. It is a device in the new technology of processing and high pressure source for liquids in the lab.
