3/8" diameter
1 1/2" body length (3/4" available)
1/2" diameter stainless steel split ring
1 3/4" overall length with ring extended   Magnet insert is rated at 5.5 lbs pull to bare steel (please note: pull force is not the same as lifting power, which depends on a number of factors.
The brass casing protects the magnet from chipping and breaking and and provides a handy, beautiful handle.  These are hand made in the USA.
