Phenol Compound Veterinary Medicine this product in concentration of 0.1%-1.0% has antibacterial effect; 1%-2% solution can kill bacteria and fungi; 5% solution can kill anthrax spores in 48 hours. Alkaline environment, lipids and soaps can weaken its bactericidal effect.This Phenol Disinfectant is for veterinary use only.
COMPOSITION:
Each g contains phenol 410-490 mg and acetic acid 220-260 mg.
DESCRIPTION:Reddish brown viscous liquid.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS:
Phenol Compound Veterinary Medicine this product in concentration of 0.1%-1.0% has antibacterial effect; 1%-2% solution can kill bacteria and fungi; 5% solution can kill anthrax spores in 48 hours. Alkaline environment, lipids and soaps can weaken its bactericidal effect.
INDICATIONS:
Disinfectant and antiseptics. Phenol Compound Veterinary Medicine can effectively fight against many kinds of bacteria and virus, often used for barn and apparatus disinfection.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Spray: Prepare a 0.3%-1% solution.
Dip: Prepare a 1.6% solution.
ADVERSE REACTION:
Local anesthetic effect on skin may occur when the concentration of the product is higher than 0.5%. If the concentration is higher than 5%, it can result in strong irritation and corrosion on tissues. Accidentally swallow, skin and mucous membrane contacting with phenol seriously can cause systemic poisoning. Typical symptom is central nervous excitement and then depressant, cardiovascular system suppression and even respiratory paralysis to death. Symptomatic treatment should be applied when poisoned.
