Introduction: 

There are three different shaft seal types for the centrifugal slurry pumps: Mechanical seal, gland packing seal, and expeller seal with either metal or rubber expeller ring. The above shown slurry pump is SH/100D with gland packing seal, and the model SH/100D is equivalent to OEM 6/4D-AH standard design. The material of the wet-end parts is high chrome A05, with hardness Rockwell HRC 58-62.
