Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether is used in preparation of aqueous Epoxy curing agents for orange peel-like leveling coatings.NGDE can be used in the synthesis of epoxy polymers for the development of shape memory polymers. This maybe used as a bifunctional reactive diluent for viscosity reduction of resins with minimum change in cured resin properties and to allow increased filler incorporation.  It can also be used in the photopolymerization of cationic polymers.
