Spherical Lens Kits are an ideal complement to any engineering or R&D laboratory. Offered with a variety of coating options, each spherical lens kit contains our highest quality optics with various effective focal lengths. Available uncoated or with broadband anti-reflection (BBAR) coating options on the spherical lens.  Simple spherical lens kits feature a selection of plano-convex lens kit (PCX lens kit), double-convex lens kit (DCX lenses), plano-concave lens kit (PCV lenses), and double-concave lens kit (DCV lenses). 

Blackening the edges of the spherical lens will reduce stray-light and increase the signal-to-noise ratio in an optical system.You'll see an improvement in your application.
