(4)Main benefits: • Lightweight polypropylene filter plates are mounted on a bolted steel frame and are moved by hydraulic  cylinders. • Adjacent "filter and compression" plates form a filtration chamber, the filter cloths hang between each pair  of plates. • By mounting the filter on a load cell system the filtration cycle is monitored and controlled. • Chamber are center feeding for optimum filling.  • Openings for pulp, water and air are generously dimensioned to reduce energy losses and wear • Service and maintenance requirements are low, the design facilitates easy cloth changing. • Air blow pressure 5~8bar(73~116psi) • Membrane pressure 6~9 bar (87~131psi) Overview to the product :  Mechanical filter press is mainly used for the material of slow dehydration, higher viscosity; long filtering cycle  and low filtration pressure. Instead of high temperature material, it’s more suits for the small filter industry. It’s applied to the filter industry of comparatively lower pressure, such as 0.4Mpa to 0.6Mpa and longer filtering cycle. Its structure   The main components of mechanical filter press are an electromotor, a reducer, gears, filter plates, a head plate,  a tail plate, screw shaft, fixed nut, beam, etc. Working principle:  When the mechanical pressure filter works, electric motor drives the reducer, and the transmission components  push the compression plate to contract filter plates.  The filter plates are clamped together, and then a pump  starts feeding the slurry into the filter press to complete a filtering cycle and produce a batch of solid filtered  material, called the filter cake. The stack of plates is opened, solid is removed, and the stack of plates is re-clamped and the filtering cycle is repeated.
