It’s used for biopsies from soft tissue such as prostate gland, kidney, liver, mammary gland,lung, spleen lymph nodes and various soft tissue tumors. It is not appropriate for bone biopsies.

1. This device is designed to be used by a physician who is experienced in diagnosis and intervention technique. It must be guided by a more professional physician to operate this device if the user doesn’t understand this device.

2. The biopsy procedure must be performed using appropriate aseptic techniques.

3. Do not test the Magnum Biopsy Instrument while the M+ biopsy needle is installed in the instrument. Or it could result in needle damage and/or patient injury.

4. Check the expiry date and the gauge. Choose suitable gauge according to the biopsy site and size of sample.

5. This device is use for soft tissue only.

6. It should be used immediately after opening the package and disposed of safely and properly as medical rubbish after using. Do not use if package or product has been damaged or soiled or wet.

7. Be careful not to press the press-button until internal needle is inserted to decided location. Verify proper location of needle.

8. Do not use the device under MRI.

9. It must be single used only in hospitals. Do not reuse.

10. Do not re-sterilize.

11. Do not soak or wipe with agents containing organic solvents. Such agent may cause damage to this product.
