PRODUCTS OVERVIEW The JS polymer cement waterproofing coating is a two-component water-base waterproofing coating which is mainly consisted of cement and polymer emulsions added with fillers and other aiding agents by scientific formulation. WHERE TO USE JS polymer cement waterproofing coating is able to be directly applied to wet or dry surfaces of various substrates and form huge area seamless waterproofing film. The coating is tough, water-tight, weatherability, good durability and able to bond various substrates such as cement mortar to form a colorful layer. The tile or mosaic is able to be installed to the JS polymer cement waterproofing coating as it has advantages of waterproof and adhesion. No containing organic solvent, no poison, no harm, no pollution, easy installation and short construction period JS-I polymer cement waterproofing coating is directly applied to wet or dry substrate and suitable for roof waterproof and maintenance of obsolete roof, the elongation of which is bigger than that of JS-II. JS-II polymer cement waterproofing coating is better suitable for bathroom for long term soaking waterproof. CONSTRUCTION HIGHLIGHT Installation sequence: Preparation of substrates---Mixing materials—reinforced waterproofing treatment to special parts---inspection and acceptance ----construction of protecting layers Preparation of substrates: The surface of substrates shall be flat, rough, dust free, no visible water. The waterproofing joint is to be treated as per the designing requirements. The greasy dirt must be cleaned. The lower and concave must be trimmed. Mixing material Mix the liquid, powder and water in proportion described on the instruction. The water content is adjustable to fit the viscosity of the coating subject to the works in different positions such as the vertical and the floor. Pour the liquid and water into agitation vat. Then, evenly put the powder into the agitation vat while stirring. Keep stirring at least 5 minutes until it appears jelly without caking. Additional reinforced waterproofing Fill the concave with sealing material as per the designing requirements. The internal and exposed corners, tube roots shall be applied 2-4 layers coating. A reinforced mat shall be installed to waterproofing coating for the underground works. Apply the waterproofing coating The waterproofing coating is at least consisted of four layers. The time interval to apply a layer is around 8 hours and will be longer in winter. The thickness of the first layer is better between 0.2mm and 0.3mm and that of other three layers will be between 0.4mm and 0.5mm in rate of 0.8kg/m2. The mixing of coating for the vertical works shall be with less water or without water to avoid the coating flow. The considerably attenuated coating would cause the thickness of the layer bonded to the vertical work is less than that of designing requirements and the internal and exposed corners accumulates more coating to be cracked. It is shall be flat, no wrinkle and with 100mm wide lap joint if the reinforced mat is required. The installation of reinforced mat follows the first coating and the second coating is applied to the reinforced mat. After inspection and acceptance of the waterproofing coating, the isolating and protecting layer will be constructed according to the designing requirements.
