Application of the product

The Polyvinyl Alcohol Fiber is non-circular in cross-section and it has hydrogen bonding with the cement matrix, so the interfacial bond strength is high and can enhance the flexural strength. The results of the study showed that the tensile strength of this fiber-reinforced concrete was improved over plain concrete under the same conditions over a wide range of volume admixture (0.05% to 0.3%). The degree of strength improvement by the fiber specifications, concrete specifications, mixing process, curing conditions and other factors change, the general situation of the fiber, the larger the length and slenderness ratio, the smaller the strength. Japan-made high modulus Vinylon fiber, with high strength (1.23GPa), high modulus (29.5GPa), alkali resistance, good affinity with cement, relative density close to 1.3, it forms a three-dimensional bonded mesh structure can effectively strengthen the concrete and prevent the generation of micro-cracks.
Polyvinyl alcohol resin (PVA) aqueous solution has good film-forming and emulsifying properties. It can be used as a protective colloid in polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization reactions.
Polyvinyl alcohol can be used in textile pulp, vinyl fiber, paper coating agent, building materials, adhesives, PVA film, PVB raw materials, food and medicine and other fields, PVA can also be used as a soil conditioner, polymerization suspending agent and emulsifier, quenching agent.
