Clear pattern glass is made with a rolled process. The molten glass is pulled out and squeezed between two metal rollers, one or two roller is engraved with the negative of the potter. This method resulted in texture of the surface. The depth, size and shape of the texture largely determine the strengyh and direction of reflection.
