Dosage and Calculation Method of  boiler anticorrosion scale inhibitor (2012) Name:boiler anticorrosion scale inhibitor Working principle: Precipitation softening: the  boiler anticorrosion scale inhibitor can react with the hard composition in the water to make the hard composition into fine suspended sludge that can be easily discharged to prevent the scaling in the heat transfer surface.
Chelation: the boiler anticorrosion scale inhibitor can form the stable water-soluble chelates with the calcium ions in water, which can increase the solubility of calcium ions in the water. So the scale cannot form and also the existing scale dissolves.  Lattice distortion: due to the adsorption of scale inhibitors, calcium carbonate crystals in the growth process break into the irregular small crystals.
Peptization: the dispersing agent in water adsorbs to the surface of the small crystals and metal to form the double layers of electricity, in the electrostatic effect, small crystal and boiler metal between repel each other, avoid forming scale in the boiler metal surface sedimentary. Threshold effect: low doses of non-stoichiometric dosing.  Corrosion Control: efficient corrosion inhibitors and environmentpassivation. Product Features: Excellent corrosion control during the period of the operation and discontinuation. Also the boiler with  boiler anticorrosion scale inhibitor does not need the ion exchanger or the deaerator equipment.
Application: Mainly used for Anticorrosion and scale inhibition of the water boiler, water boiler heating system, secondary hot water heating systems with heat exchanger, and low pressure steam boiler. Main ingredients: the PESA ,HPMA, ATMP ,corrosion inhibitors M, sodium carbonate, sodium nitrate. Technical data: scale inhibition rate ≥ 99% ;Inhibiting rate ≥ 99% ;Inhibiting rate for discontinuation protection≥ 99%. Dosage for the water boiler: the initial dosage: 0.5 ~ 1.0 kg / ton (feed water hardness <5mmol / L) dosage for the feed water: 0.5 kg / t (feed water hardness <5mmol / L). When the original water hardness is greater than 5mmol/L, increase the dosage 0.08 - 0.1kg with the increase of per 1mmol / L. Dosage for the steam boiler: Initial dosage: 2 kg / t (feed water hardness <5 mmol / L) dosagefor the feed water: 0.15 kg / ton (feed water hardness <5mmol / L).When the original water hardness is greater than 5mmol/L, increase the dosage 0.06 - 0.1kg with the increase of per 1mmol / L. Monitoring and control: artificially use the 9~14pH test strips or pH meter to test the system water. When the result is between pH 10.5 to 12, it means the dosage is qualified. Physical and chemical properties: Alkaline gray solid powder. The packaging: moisture-proof packaging with the outer layer of yellow kraft paper and the inner layer of the plastic bag. Store: preserve in the dry, cool and sealed place, the  boiler anticorrosion scale inhibitor can be valid for three years. Dosing: Initial dosing method: clean the boiler. If the thickness of the scale is greater than 2 mm, carry out the chemical cleaning and passivation. Before feeding water to the system, measure or estimate water amount of the system. Blend the solution in softening water tank according to the water amount and dosing standards and replenish the drugs with the feed water increasing. After the water cycle becoming stable, measure the pH of the system water. If the pH is low,replenish the drug.  Dose after feeding water: Record the amount of the feeding water in each shift and then calculate the drug dosage that need to put into the boiler in each shift at a regular time. Dosage medicinal calculation: when the heating area is 80,000 square meters with installing two 2.8 MW gas-fired water boiler, as the water capacity of a single boiler is 7 tons and the water capacity of per ten thousand square meters is 10 cubic meters, as the amount of the feeding water per day is the 4% of the amount of the system water; the boiler is running for 120 days and the feed water hardness is less than 5mmol / L, calculate the dosage of the whole running period? The total water capacity of the system: 10 tons / million square meters × 8 +7 t / × 2 = 94 tons of; The total amount of the feed water during the whole running period: 94 tons x 4% x 120 days = 451 tons; Initial dosage for the system: 94 tons x 0.8 kg / t = 75 kg; The dosage after feeding water for the system: 451 tons x 0.5 kg / ton = 226 kg; The total dosage for the whole running period of the system: 75 kg +226 kg = 301 kg.
