GBF Basalt fiber surface mat is produced with basalt chopped fiber under wet papermaking process. It is designed for use in filament winding process for manufacture of GRP pipes, storage tanks, etc. Or in hang lay-up process for improving FRP surface and compression molding processes, etc.

Basalt Needle Mat /Felt provides very low thermal conductivity and can withstand continuous working temperatures -260C-900C.
