Packaging & Shipping   FAQ   Q: What exactly are our wall paper and to be so special?   A: Wall paper stick flat to walls without the use of nails and use a special adhesive that grips the wall tightly but won't form a bond. When the sticker is removed, it lifts easily from the wall without residue or damage.   Our products are 100% safe for children which are non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals like phthalates and lead. They are fully CPSIA-compliant, and have undergone many rigorous safety and regulatory tests.       Q: How do I prepare my walls for applying wallpaper?   A:We do recommend priming the wall first which makes an ideal surface. Remove all nails, screws, electrical plates, other wall fixtures and old wallcovering and make sure the surface is free from grease, mildew, or other stains. Scrape off any loose paint.   For new walls, apply a high-quality primer/sealer (white is best) which will give the wallcovering an even surface for better adhesion. Apply a wallpaper sizing which makes hanging and positioning easier.   For previously papered walls, remove all the old wallcovering and clean the walls with a mild detergent solution or adhesive remover. Rinse with clear water and allow the surface to dry. Prime with an oil-base primer to completely seal the surface and then apply sizing to the walls before applying your new wallcovering.       Q: Can I wallpaper over wallpaper?   A: We do not recommend hanging new wallpaper over existing wallpaper. Wallpapers have a vinyl coating or are sheet vinyl which makes them a vapor barrier. That will likely result in mildew forming between the two layers. Also many newer wallcoverings are not completely opaque so the underlying pattern could show through.  Other times the old underlying wallcovering will bubble.        Q: How do I get bubbles out of my wallpaper once it's hung?   A: Normally, bubbles settle out of a paper within a couple of hours after it dries on the wall. But, if bubbles remain after the wallpaper is completely dried, slit the bubble with a sharp blade and work adhesive into the bubble area (you may also inject adhesive into the bubble with a syringe), then use a smoothing tool to press flat and clean the area with a damp cloth to remove any paste from the surface of the wallpaper.       Q: Can wallpaper be placed in the kitchen or bathroom?   A: Yes, provided the wall doesn’t have humid spots. However, if the paper is close to zones extremely exposed to water or oil, we recommend to apply a liquid latex layer over the paper to avoid deterioration.       Q: Can wallpaper be washed and cleaned?   A:Yes, glue stains may remain after placement.
