Far Red IR 1300nm LED 5mm Through-hole LED

Far red LED 1300nm wavelength with 5mm Through-hole LED lamps;

In same chips, IR LED can be different package with SMD LED or through-hole LED type. This 504IRC-131L is encapsulated in 5mm through-hole LED type with a round clear epoxy case. For common IR LED, we can see some dim red spot when we light up the LED diode. But the more wavelength the dim brightness, in this 1300nm LED, we cannot see any brightness in our bare eyes when it's working. Only the signal can be emits when it's working. So when you cannot see any lighting spot, please don't worry about the quality, just use some other test machine to check the current or just open the camera on your cellphone, you might can see a dim purple(or pink) spot in the middle of this 1300nm IR LED. That can be the sign of working.
