EPP is a PP specialty foam with very good impact absorption, low weight and high temperature resistance. It combines high energy absorption – even after several impacts – with excellent resilience and isotropic deformation performance. These properties, which also include low water absorption and good resistance to chemicals, open up a broad range of applications: from vehicle construction, packaging and transport containers to sports and leisure applications. EPP is 100% recyclable. It is manufactured and processed without any CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons). The EPP shock pad sub-layer basis can easily be cleaned or disinfected, it does not absorb water and is resistant to oils and chemicals.
