Sensitive material of MQ-9 gas sensor: SnO₂

Adopts detection method of cycle high and low temperature

At low temperature (heated by 1.5V), sensor's conductivity becomes higher along with gas concentration rising

At high temperature (heated by 5.0V), detects methane, propane and other combustible gas and cleans the other gases adsorbed under low temperature.

Uses simple circuit to convert change of conductivity to correspond output signal of gas concentration

MQ-9 gas sensor has high sensitivity to carbon monoxide, methane and LPG, sensor can be used to detect different gases containing CO and combustible gases
