Paper Basis Weight and Moisture Quality Control System (QCS) is applied to the system that measure and corresponding control paper basis weight and moisture on line. There has a scanning frame before reeling machine. This scanning frame is equipped with a basis weight detection sensor and a moisture detection sensor. These two sensors can move back and forth on scanning frame, and can detect the paper basis weight and moisture variation dynamically. In order to control paper basis weight and moisture, PLC controls the technology parameter, such as pulp consistence, flow and dry steam, etc. GCS is used for energy saving control the steam heating of dryer cylinder. It is using ejector type heat pump technology to have the second steam ejector pressurization for the dry section, emptying the inside water, recycling the waste heat and condensate water furthest, which is 15% energy saving than traditional steam supply. Besides, this system can realize multi stages pressure differential coordinate control, optimize the surface concentration curve and remain the curve unchanged, so it can improve the product quality stably. Rewinder Electric Control Systemincludes: torque control of unwind roll electromotor; web tension control; speed and torque control of supporting roll; press nip pressure auto control of riding roll; web length measurement and control; finished roll diameter measurement and control, etc. Rewinder has two drive control ways: AC frequency conversion motor control and DC speed control. AC control advantages: saving electric energy; longevity service; electromotor maintenance free; but high cost. The DC control system is low cost but the electromotor brush is needed to renew periodically and the DC commutator is need to maintenance periodically. Besides, DC electromotor has the lower efficiency.
