DPS6 Clutch Fork (Large)

The transmission fork is a component on the automobile gearbox. It is connected to the transmission handle and is located at the lower end of the handle. It turns the middle transmission wheel to change the input/output speed ratio. The shift fork is mainly used for clutch shifting.

The Clutch Actuator is one of the most important components in the vehicle clutch system. Its function is to convert the driver's clutch operation into the movement of the clutch pressure plate. It not only determines the working effect of the vehicle clutch, but is also directly related to the driver's driving safety and comfort.

The clutch fork is mainly responsible for converting the movement of the clutch operating lever into the movement of the clutch pressure plate, thereby realizing the opening and closing of the clutch. When the driver depresses the clutch pedal, the clutch operating lever will push the clutch fork to move toward the clutch pressure plate, causing the clutch to disengage, and the engine's power will no longer be transmitted to the transmission to realize the gear shifting operation. When the driver releases the clutch pedal, the clutch operating lever will return to its original position, the clutch pressure plate will be re-engaged under the action of torque, the engine power will be transmitted to the transmission again, and the vehicle will return to normal driving status.

The clutch fork is an important part of the car's transmission clutch. If the fork is damaged, it will cause the transmission to be difficult or impossible to shift into gear, affecting the normal driving of the car. Common symptoms of shift fork damage include: shift fork bending and deformation, shift fork cracks or breaks, shift fork pin damage, shift fork and shift fork shaft falling off, etc. In addition, the shifting groove of the shift head at the upper end of the shift fork may be enlarged, the end face of the lower fork may be ground thin or grooved, or the fork body at the lower part of the shift fork may be bent or twisted. Therefore, when the clutch fork is damaged, it needs to be repaired and replaced in time, otherwise it will affect the normal driving of the car. Generally speaking, damage to the shift fork will cause difficulty or inability to shift into gear during driving, which requires the attention of car owners.
