Spiral nozzle is also called desulphurization nozzle and non-block nozzle, large flow-rate nozzle, and dust removal nozzle.
Theory of the spiral nozzle:
1.The spiral nozzle produced a series of concentric cone jet type. Same with the axial nozzle the exit and entrance of the spiral nozzle also in the same central axis. While, there are no fine tuning blade inside of the spiral nozzle compared with the axial nozzle. The difference is that the spiral nozzle itself was designed into a shape of spiral which diameter shrinking constantly. This kind of design can cut the flow of the liquid into two or more concentric spiral rings. One meter below the nozzle, the jet model on the section was composed by one or more concentric rings.  The size of the droplet formed by the spiral nozzle is similarly with the size of tangential nozzle of hollow cone jet type. While, the operating pressure of the spiral nozzle is higher than the hollow cone jet type. When facing with the same pressure the spiral nozzle is more suitable than the axial nozzle in a situation of higher liquid flow rate.
2.After tangent and collision with the shrinking spiral the liquid (or slurry) would be changed into very small droplets which will jet out and form into mist. The streamline designed from the entrance to the exit in the nozzle's cavity would make the modulus of the obstacle into the lowest. The spiral nozzle was suit for various kinds of works in numerous industries such as chemical industry, environment protection, electricity and textile etc. The spiral nozzle is more widely used especially in the desulfurization and dust removal.
