ploughshear/plow mixer for powder Horizontal powder mixer Introduction Ploughshare Mixers (or plow mixers) operate on the principle of a mechanically generated fluid bed with three dimensional movement of the product. They provide excellent solutions for mixing materials like powders, powders with liquids, and heavy pastes such as dough molding compounds (DMC) and putties. Homogenous mixing of materials with varying densities, flow-properties, particle sizes and structures is achieved in quick time. Mix ratios of up to 1:20,000 are possible. The ploughshare mixer can mix the material in less than 5 minutes with 95 to 98 percent homogeneity. The mixer can handle material with viscosities in the range of 600,000 centipoises. Function The Horizontal Mixer is based on the principle of mechanical fluidisation of the product. The particular shape, position and rotation speed of the mixing tools, creates a centrifugal vortex motion, which allows the materials to be projected in a three-dimensional way and to merge with each other. This ensures that components with a different particle size and bulk density are perfectly blended and mixed with high precision within the shortest possible time.
WBH Batch-type Mixers are used for mixing dry powders, granules or short fibres, for moistening, agglomerating or granulating the same materials, or for mixing liquids or pastes with low viscosity. Features 1.Wide application and multi-function mixture; 2.Disperse the material by high-speed blade set with little aggregation to realize short time and better efficiency. while it can make the material not be agglomerating. 3. Better mixing effect can be achieved for materials differed in particle size and density. 4.
