Carbon steel tube is a kind of steel pipes alloy, which is made of solid round steel or steel ingot as raw material, and then made into capillary by piercing process, and then made by hot rolling or cold drawing technology. The carbon steel tubes on the market are divided into high, medium and low grades according to the different carbon content, with different types, and different properties and application ranges.
High carbon steel pipes have the highest carbon content, generally greater than 0.6%, so high carbon steel tube is generally not used for industrial production. Medium carbon steel pipe is generally 0.25 to 0.6 percent, with moderate hardness and wide applications. The carbon content of low carbon steel pipes are less than 0.25%, which is also common in industrial applications.
