Technology Of RUNNING Biomass Gasification Systems:

The RUNNING biomass gasification systems are based on a modular concept and are able to generate the producer gas range from 100-7,000Nm3/hr. (120,000-10,000,000Kcal/hr) per module . There are four series of biomass gasification system developed by RUNNING:

CFBG (Circulating Fluidized Bed Gasifier) Series,

UFBG(Updraft Fixed Bed Gasifier) Series,

DFBG(Downdraft Fixed Bed Gasifier) Series,

TFBG(Twin-Fire Fixed Bed Gasifier) Series.

RUNNING BIOMASS GASIFICATION SYSTEM MODES AND ITS APPLICATIONS
We have hot gas mode and cold gas mode of our biomass gasification systems due to the many applications of biomass gasification.

The hot gas mode means after the gas produced from biomass gasifier, since this producer gas still hot and then after a simple dedust system, we can send this gas directly fired to supply heat for boiler to get steam, hot water, hot oil. This hot gas also can directly fired to get hot air for many kinds of ovens,furances, dryers and kilns(if these users no need clean gas for their equipment). Normally hot gas mode is good enough for many applications which the customer's existing equipment are using coal, diesel, bunker, Heavy fuel oil and etc.

Notes:

1)The hot gas mode normally has more than 80-85% thermal effieciency.

2)The gas temp. is normally more than 100-600 degreeC deponds on the different gasifier design.

3) In a hot gas mode,the gas pipes from hot gas outlet to the user can not be longer, because the gas still has dust, coke, tar and etc.

4) Normally hot gas mode is good enough for many applications which the customer's existing equipment are using coal, diesel, bunker, Heavy fuel oil and etc.

The cold gas mode process includes includes two steps. The First step is biomass gasification, which convert biomass into syngas/produer gas. The Second step is syngas/producer gas purification. The producer gas coming from gasifier usually contains contaminants including dust, coke, tar and etc. The contaminants will be removed by the gas purification system to ensure a low temperature and as much clean as natural gas,LPG or CNG. Then it can be used for many application which need clean & cold fuel gas, such gas generate electricity by IC engine/generator, food drying industry, special dryer,ovens,furnace and kilns which need clean and cold gas.

Notes:

1)The cold gas mode normally has more than 70-75% thermal effieciency.

2)The gas temp. is normally less than 30-40 degreeC.

3) In a cold gas mode,the gas pipes from cold gas outlet to the user can be piped far away by gas compressor.

4) Normally cold gas mode is good enough for many applications which the customer's existing equipment must use LPG,natural gas or CNG such these clean fuel gas.
