Application:

Suitable for conducting heat resistance tests on electrical appliance enclosures and external parts made of all insulating materials to verify their heat resistance properties.

Test on:

Insulating materials used for electrical appliance casings and external components (excluding ceramics)

Functionality:

The ball pressure tester consists of a 5mm diameter steel ball, a spherical bracket with a cross hole, and a clamping screw for the basket frame; a basket frame for holding the counterweight bracket, and two counterweights with fasteners.

As per standard figure 38, this device is to be used in conjunction with a high-temperature chamber at temperatures of 40/70/125±2° for a test duration of 1 hour, followed by quenching in cold water to room temperature within 10 seconds. After testing, the measured diameter of the ball indentation must not exceed the standard specified indentation size, meaning the indentation must be no greater than 2mm.
