Installation location:

 
Choose a right location for the alarm according to the proportion of gas
 

Coal gas, nature gas: Lighter than air, they are suspended from the ceiling. So ,the alarm should be installed in the location which is about 0.3- 1.2 meters below the ceiling, and is less than 1.5 meters apart from the air supply.

Liquefied petroleum gas: heavier than air, it deposit on the low-lying place, so the alarm should be installed in the location which is  0.3- 1.2 meters off the ground, and is less than 1.5 meters apart from the air supply.
 
 

Note:

a. Don't face the lampblack and steam from the cooking stoves
b. Do not install in a well-ventilated place
c. Don't placed behind the curtain or ambry.
d. Do not install in damp place such as bathroom
e. Don't remove or repair the alarm by yourself if there is a fault.
