ASTM A312 TP304 is a specification for seamless and welded stainless steel pipes. It covers pipes of various sizes, schedules, and types, including welded pipes. Stainless Steel Pipe made from ASTM A312 TP304 stainless steel are produced by welding the edges of the strip or plate together to form a continuous pipe. It is important to note that ASTM A312 TP304 welded pipes are not suitable for applications that require high pressure or high temperature resistance. For such applications, seamless pipes made from TP304 or other suitable grades should be used.
