Antimicrobial agent for Marine boat paints

Description

TC-ZPT is a highly active, broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, which can be used in PVC and other plastics, in paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants.

Properties

Ÿ   Slightly soluble in water

Ÿ   Various concentration products available.

Ÿ   Inhibits the growth of fungi, both yeast and mold

Ÿ   Exhibits pronounced growth inhibiting activity against abroad spectrum of both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria

Ÿ   Excellent chelating agents for heavy metal ions.

Applications

Can be used in PVC and other plastics, in paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants.

Some chelating agents, such as Ethylene Diaminetetra Acetic Acid (EDTA), are recommended to add into formula.

Cautions

With possible irritation to skin and eye. If splash into eyes, please flush with plenty of water immediately.

Safe at recommended usage level.

Metal ion cause color changing. Tank made from 316L stainless steel or porcelain enamel is recommended to use in production.

Storage & Handling

Standard Packing: 25kg/drum

Storage: Keep in Cool, Dry, Ventilated and Lightless Place.

Keep drum tightly closed.

Keep away from UV light.

Protect from freezing for TC-ZPT 48.

Keep away from oxidizing materials.

Stir before use and test for TC-ZPT 48.

Shelf life:12months
