Reducer is a kind of pipe fitting that be used for reducing piping size. There are 2 types of reducers, including concentric reducers and eccentric reducers.

Pipe reducer is used to connect two pieces of pipes those have different outside diameters. The both ends of reducer is butt weld, so it has another name butt weld reducer. 

There are different kinds of materials, include carbon, alloy and stainless steel. Manufacture standard include a lot, such as ASME, EN, BS, DIN, GOST etc.
