Advanced Customized 96 Alumina Ceramic Substrate

Our factory produces a great many of alumina ceramic substrates in selection of purities, mainly including 96%, 99% and 99.6% alumina. All these ceramic substrates offer high mechanical strength, high thermal conductivity and high electrical insulation, they are fit for using as heat sink plate in a variety of high power modules, DBC substrates, electrical circuit board in LED lighting and automotive electronics and so on. We supply various of standard thickness of the ceramic substrates from 0.25mm to 1mm, in addition, we take use of in-house production line to do further lapping, polishing and laser cutting to reach customized specification based on clients' requirement.

The specification of ceramic substrate

1.Shaping methods: tape casting, dry pressing, isostatic pressing and so on

2.Material option: aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, aluminum nitride

3.Dimension capability: min. thickness to be 0.15 mm, max. length and width to be 400 mm by 300 mm

4. Dimensional tolerance : thickness ± 0.05 mm, length ± 0.20 mm, width ± 0.20 mm

5. Surface treatment: diamond polishing to be Ra0.05, metallizing for ceramic to metal bonding

Main features of alumina ceramic substrates

1. Good thermal shock resistance, greater than 220 T(℃) and refractory with high - temperature resistance       

2. High thermal conductivity, up to 25 W/m.k at room temperature and low coefficient of thermal expansion   

3. Good surface roughness, flatness to be 0.05 mm and very smooth texture with super tiny grain size

4. High dielectric strength, high electrical resistivity, low dielectric constant and dielectric loss 

5. Laser cutting or precision machining cutting makes tight tolerance for precision fitting easily

6. More quicker heat dissipation than cooper and aluminum metal materials and increase the service life

7. Anti-aging, resistance to oxidization and free of rusty forever, also chemical stability to various harsh conditions

8. Low density, over 3.65 g /cm3, with light weight, it's benefit to design the device more lighter.
