Application of Calcium Formate
Calcium Formate Calcium Diformate Feed Grade, Industrial Grade is a convenient source of calcium and formate ions for aqueous solutions.
2.Domestic and foreign market research shows that adding 1% to 1.5% calcium formate in piglet diets can significantly improve the performance of weaned piglets. The German study found that adding 1.3% calcium formate to the diet of weaned piglets can improve the feed conversion rate by 7% to 8%. Adding 0.9% can reduce the incidence of diarrhea in piglets.Calcium formate as a piglet feed additive, can promote piglets appetite and reduce the rate of diarrhea. Calcium formate is added to the feed in a neutral form. After the piglets feed on the digestive tract, they will release traces of formic acid, thus reducing the pH of the gastrointestinal tract. It promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract and reduces the effects of the disease in piglets. During the first few weeks after weaning, adding 1.5% calcium formate to the feed can increase the growth rate of piglets by more than 12% and increase feed conversion by 4%.

6.De- icing agent:
Mixtures of Calcium Formate Calcium Diformate Feed Grade, Industrial Grade with urea are excellent agents for the melting of ice. Less corrosion of steel and cement surfaces is observed than with other de-icers.
7.Other Applications:
Calcium Formate Calcium Diformate Feed Grade, Industrial Grade is able to be utilized as an additive to improve solution stability of various resins, as a corrosion inhibitor in moulding and wire-drawing operations, or as a catalyst in place of calcium acetate.
