The boiler is a natural circulating water-tube boiler and adopts circulating combustion system formed by vortex cyclone separator. Its furnace is of membrane wall structure, its separator is of high-temperature adiabatic type. The superheater system is composed of screen, high and low temperature ones, between which two-grade vertical spray desuperheater is arranged. At the back-end surfaces, two grades of economizer, primary and secondary air preheaters are arranged.
The boiler is designed into indoor or outdoor type. If it is erected outdoor, the boiler will be redesigned with necessary rainshed. The operating floor elevation is 7.5 m and the boiler elevation is based on the zero-meter layer. The boiler steel structure is of all metal structure. When it is operated at areas where earthquake magnitude is over 7, reinforcement for the boiler steel structure is needed.
