5XZ-6 soybean specific gravity separator seed selector

INTRODUCTION
5XZ-6 Gravity Separator is used for fine cleaning and impurity separation of seeds and beans with identical particle size but with differences in their specific weight.
The Gravity Separator is used to remove partially eaten, immature, insect damaged sick seed and moldy seed from good seed, which traditional cleaning method by Seed Cleaner and Indented Cylinder prove to be less effective.
This machine is according to segregation phenomenon of granule and density under fluidization process, for achieve materials delaminating and mutual exchange, at the same time the wind pressure and amplitude need be adjusted. Specific gravity separator is used to classify materials according to density or specific gravity. This is important when seed and impurities are similar in size but different in density. The separator uses a vibrating perforated deck that can be tilted in two directions at various pitches. Air moving through the perforated deck separates the seed and any impurities by weight as the deck oscillates.

APPLICATION
5XZ-6 is widely used in the seed processing and the agricultural products processing, has good separating effects on the seeds of grain, beans, tree, wheat, maize, paddy rice, cotton, sorghum, legumes, rape, vegetables, Chinese pine, larch, spruce, oil and so on, it can remove blighted seed, budding seed, damaged seed (by insect), rotten seed, deteriorated seed, moldy seed, non-viable seed, seed with black powder sick and seed with shell, at the same time the geometry size is smaller than the 2mm objects can be removed as well, such as grass seed, sand, gravel, soil block and so on. Finally the vigor and viable seed will be obtained, after the selecting of specific gravity separators, and the seed germination rate and cleaning degree will increase as well.

WORKING PRINCIPLE 
The sifting bed surface for specific gravity cleaning machine has certain tilting angle on the direction of length and width. We call them respectively vertical tilting angle and horizontal tilting angle. When it works, the sifting bed does reciprocating vibration under the driving mechanism, and then the seeds fall on the sifting bed. Under the fan airflow from the bottom, the seeds on sifting bed begin to separate, the heavier ones fall down the under layer of the materials, also the seeds will move upward on the vibrating direction by the action of sifting bed vibration. And the lighter seeds float on the upper layer of the materials and cannot contact with the sifting bed surface because there is a horizontal tilting angle on the surface. Moreover, due to the action of sifting bed vertical tilting angle, as the sifting bed vibrates, materials will move forward on the length direction of the bed, and finally discharge from the hopper. So from the above, it can be conclude that the movement orbits of the materials on the surface of the cleaning machine are different due to specific gravity of the materials, and it can arrive at the aim for cleaning and classification. Sifting web is chosen according to the difference of materials cleaning. 

WORKING PROCESS
The seed or beans are fed continuously on the vibration deck surface of the Gravity Separator, and then spread and makes a uniform bed of material over the deck surface on stratifying area.
In stratifying area, by the function of uniform air system the light materials will go top of product bed and heavy material will go lower under the light materials and touch the deck surface.
The vibration deck is supported by an eccentric drive which makes the deck to move in high frequency and low amplitude. And the heavy materials will move up towards higher position of deck, while light materials move down towards lower position of deck. And in this process also generate of mixed materials which be discharged separately.
