The worm groove, casting and tooth surface of star wheel form a sealed cavity. The worm rotates the star wheels. When the star wheels are moving in the worm groove, the air in the worm groove is compressed and exhausted. The worm has 6 grooves and is separated horizontally by two star wheels into 12 working cavities, each of which realizes separately suction, compression and exhaustion. Easy maintenance:  The single screw air compressor technology is developed based on the double screw air compressor technology, so single technology improve the disadvantages of double technology in the design. When the single screw air compressor running, the mainly friction is from the Star Wheel(None-metal material), so in the normally maintenance only the replacement of start wheel is available, and also can be solved in the working site. But the double screw air compressor’s friction is from two metal rotors, the special equipment will be essential in the process of repair, generally we need send the compressor air end to factory to replace.   2.  Non-metal material PEEK star wheel has the excellent performance on it’s features such as oil resistance, high temperature resistance and wear resistance . It’s service time as long as 30,000 hours to 50,000 hours.   3. High Efficiency Working Principle: Each worm has 6 grooves, and two symmetric star wheel separate the worm groove into 12 working cavities, when the star wheel is moving in the worm groove, the air in groove is compressed and exhausted, each of which realizes separately suction, compression and exhaustion. Therefore, one single screw air compressor equals one unit of double cylinder piston air compressor.   4. More Energy Saving:  The ratio power is the key index to measure a compressor energy efficiency. The smaller ratio power, the smaller power consumption. Compared the single screw air compressor industry standard JB/T 10525-2005 and double screw air compressor JB/T 6430-2002 standard, for the same compressor power, the single compressor ratio power is average lower 0.2-0.3 kw/(m³/min) than double compressor ratio power. In other words, when compressor press one cubic meters air, single will save 0.3kw min/m³electricity than double compressor, let’s take one 40m3/min compressor as example, the working condition is 12 hours per day, 300days per one year, and industrial electricity cost is 1.00RMB, after one years running, we can save the electricity cost about (0.3 kw min/m³×40m³/min)×12h/day×300day×1CNY/ kwh=43200.00CNY   5.
