POE splitter and POE power supply are two devices with opposite effects，The POE splitter is to separate the POE input of the POE switch (or POE power supply) into two types of independent outputs of power and data signals;The POE power supply combines a power input and a data signal input into a POE output

1、When the upper device is an ordinary switch that does not support the POE standard, and the lower device is a powered device that does not support the POE standard, data exchange can be performed between the two;

2、When the upper-end device is an ordinary switch that does not support the POE standard, and the lower-end device is a powered device that supports the POE standard, the two devices need to use the POE power supply to provide normal power and data exchange for the lower-end powered device.

 3、When the upper device is a POE switch and the lower device is a powered device that supports the POE standard, power and data can be exchanged between the two through a network cable;

   4、When the upper device is a POE switch and the lower device is a powered device that does not support the POE standard, a POE splitter is required for power supply and data exchange between the two;
