This coloration is achieved through adding metal oxides at the smelting stage. Addition of color does not affect the basic properties of the glass, even though visible light reflectance will be slightly higher than clear glass.   The advantages of Tinted glass Tinted glass is widely used in construction, both for the exterior cladding of facades of buildings, as well as in interior space. It gives them a modern, original form. It protects from sunlight and limits the transmission of ultraviolet radiation in space, protecting furniture and furnishings from fading.
