Choosing the right hose for your steam application is crucial not only to ensure efficiency and reliability of your operation but to maintain safety in the workplace. Cut and Couple carries a variety of EPDM and Chlorabutyl steam hoses. Cut and Couple’s oil resistant steam hose is designed for saturated steam service to 406 degrees Fahrenheit and super-heated service to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, where the cover might also encounter petroleum products - such as in refineries, shipyards and chemical plants. These hoses are reinforced with high tensile spiral steel wire for superior strength. Black and red covers are available from stock. Note: Proper draining of steam hoses after each use will increase service life, especially in hot water applications. Please be aware that using these steam hoses with superheated steam will shorten hose life. Cut & Couple Steam Hoses support a temperature range of -40 to 406 degrees Fahrenheit and a working pressure of 17 Bar (250 PSI).
